The Frances Foundation has a focused, devoted commitment to bring smiles to kids fighting cancer. The Foundation strives to alleviate a child’s pain and suffering with a special gift, a special gesture, or even a few special moments. The Foundation also provides financial assistance to impoverished families desperately needing help due to their child’s fight again cancer. The Foundation seeks to give compassionately to children and families dealing with extremely difficult physical and emotional challenges. In addition to direct aid to a child or family, The foundation also supports research aimed to terminate childhood cancers.

Wishes make life better for kids with life-threatening medical conditions by granting them any wish they would like.

Make-A-Wish has granted 14,800 wishes last year alone – on average, one every 35 minutes. But for every wish granted, another child is diagnosed with a potentially qualifying condition. A child who needs a wish. Make-A-Wish will remain committed to a vision of granting a wish to every eligible child until a time comes where no child needs a wish. Their mission statesment is: "Because wishes make very sick kids feel better – and sometimes, when they feel better, they get better."

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long, healthy lives. The Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research primarily through head-shaving events. Volunteers, sponsored by family, friends and employers, shave their heads in solidarity with children who typically lose their hair during cancer treatment. Events have taken place in all 50 US states and 26 countries. Since 2000, St. Baldrick's Foundation volunteers have organized nearly 4,200 head-shaving events and  raised over $178 million for life-saving childhood cancer research.
